US President Donald Trump has responded to the call for
Oprah Winfrey to run for the President of the United States come 2020.
Trump said he thinks running against Oprah will be lots of
fun but he believes he will beat her easily.
"Yeah, I'll beat Oprah; Oprah would be a lot of
fun," Trump told reporters during an immigration meeting with
congressional lawmakers. Still, he added, "I don't think she's going to
run."
Trump said he knows Winfrey very well. "I like
Oprah," he said. "... You know, I did one of her last shows. She had
Donald Trump – this was before politics – her last week, and she had Donald
Trump and my family. It was very nice."
I don't understand why the world is agog over Oprah's speech at the golden globes.
It's a great one; I teared up and cheered, but have they forgotten she's the queen of talk?
She made her millions from talking.
She's a role model to me and millions of others because she talks and we reason.
That's what she does; talks you to a standing ovation.
I think Americans miss Obama's gift of the gab and Oprah looks like the next best thing.
I strongly believe she ain't running.
She has nothing to prove in politics.
This woman is in a league of her own.
White House intrigues will taint her squeaky-clean image.
