The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall have just
announced they will be visiting Nigeria, The Gambia, and Ghana this year.
The announcement was made by the Clarence House official
Twitter as it revealed the visit is scheduled to take place between October
31st to November 8th, 2018.
According to Clarence House, this will be the first time the
Royal couple will be in The Gambia, as well as the first time Camilla will be
in Ghana and Nigeria. Prince Charles visited Kano back in 2006.
The reason for their visit will be to highlight the
importance of the countries’ Commonwealth ties.
Hope they will pass through Lagos, Port Harcourt and Abuja? These royals never like to see Nigeria's poshness. They prefer the Hinterlands. Maybe it's their way of justifying the prejudiced mindset that Africans are still primitive. Askor!
